Prayers for my mom

May I please ask for prayers for our family and my mother? My mother is 95 and I fear she is dying. It doesn’t seem to make it any easier that she’s 95, it still hurts. I moved to this area (not by choice, but by life circumstances) and haven’t found any friends. My mother has been my only true friend. I don’t know what to do without her; she also gave me purpose in life by her needing me to take care of her.
She is suffering from numerous ailments due to her age. She can barely hear or see anymore and is depending on me for basics like groceries etc, but also needs me for companionship, as I need her. She was always very sharp mentally, but that seems to be fading. She says she is feeling the presences of loved ones who’ve died, and has been. In her words, “waiting” for my brother, even though he lives in Wisconsin.

I drove by your church the other day and I think your sign said, “simply be kind.”
That touched me. I’d like to start attending your church, as kindness is the thing this world so desperately needs right now.

Thank you for reading this long winded message and thank you for your help. It is very much appreciated.

    Nancy,
You and your mom will both be in my prayers. I will pray for peace for both of you. I will also pray that you make meaningful connections here in Puyallup, and know that your purpose stretches far beyond the beautiful connection you and your mom have. Please come join us some Sunday or for any other event. We are a small congregation with a huge heart, I have no doubt you will feel welcome here. Even if you don’t come, know that we will keep you and your mom in prayer.
