Over four Sundays in March, Faith Trekkers grades 1 through 6 learned about a short man named Zaccheus who wanted to see Jesus.  Zaccheus and the people gathered never dreamed that Jesus would want to spend time with him!  Jesus called Zaccheus by name and they shared time at Zaccheus' home.  This is a story about learning to turn over a new leaf, but also that Jesus knows us and loves us no matter what!

In the computer lab the basis for the rotation was set.  In the The Carpenter's Workshop, a puppet theater was designed, painted, and assembled.  In Disciples' Design Art Studio, the artists used various media to design puppets.  On the last Sunday, the rotation came to a crescendo as rehearsals took place and the puppet show about the man whom the crowd despised but Jesus loved was presented to our preschool class.  The production went off without a hitch and rapt attention was given by even the youngest audience members!

Our memory verse was, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long."  Psalm 23:5,6
