Writing letters - just like Paul Writing letters to Africa

.
In May,
Faith Trekkers grades 1 through 6 learned in our Spread The Word! workshop (other workshops included music, games & storytelling, art, and carpentry) that just like Paul, we can teach others about Jesus Christ.  From Acts 16:11-40, Lydia and the jailer's baptisms were featured, as well as Lydia's hospitality.  We learned that Paul continued to encourage the people he had met by communicating with them through letters.

Our "apostles" wrote letters to two children in Africa, and shared stories of our own church, Sunday school lessons, and words of encouragement.

A special thank you to our youngest Sunday school teacher, Emma, age 8.  She taught the lesson very well!

Our memory verse was, "6Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
