In November, Faith
Trekkers grades 1 through 6 learned
in the different workshops (art, video,
drama, and computers) that just like
Queen Esther, they can make the right
choices, even when difficult, and make a difference.
Comparing their own lives to that of Esther, they realized that
they, too, can relate to the memory verse from Esther
4:14,
"Perhaps
you have come to the kingdom for just such a time as this."
Our blossoming artists created masks
like the ones used in the Festival of Purim, portraying the
characters in The Story of Esther. Later, in the drama
workshop, our artistes used the masks to act out scenes from the
book of Esther.
Front row, left to right: Queen
Vashti, Evil Haman, Uncle Mordecai.
Back row: Emma
as King Xerxes, Shannon as Queen Esther.
