During this time of worship you may wish to have a candle to light and to have bread and a beverage for communion — whatever you have available will be sufficient.

Acknowledgement of Land

(An act towards reconciliation)

For thousands of years, First Nations people have walked on this land; their relationship with the land is at the center of their lives and spirituality. We are gathered on the traditional territory of the Coastal Salish and Puyallup people, and we acknowledge their stewardship of this land throughout the ages.

  .

GATHERING & EXPLORING

Set apart your worship space by lighting a candle along with the video clip.  The light of the candle symbolizes the presence of the Holy wherever we are.

CELEBRATING & BLESSING

  .

Closing Benediction
(adapted from Tom Cundiff and II Corinthians 13:11-13)

  .

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our teacher and friend;

May the love of God, binding us together and building us up;

May the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, knitting us together as a church family;

Be with us until we meet again.  Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Be sure to wear RED on May 31st, Pentecost Sunday, when red signifies the presence of God’s Holy Spirit!  We don’t have to be in the same room to celebrate!  EMAIL photos to webmaster@fccpuyallup.com, and if we get enough we’ll create an online photo album so we can see each other.
